Madness? Only artistic expression ..

How thin is the border between pathology and mental health? When you can claim to be before a mentally ill person? This video shows some of the famous works of art by a famous painter, considered "the painter sick" for excellence, Van Gogh, through the music of Eduardo De Crescenzo, which he dedicated one of his most recent work, is offered to us again. The painter often suffer hallucinations and many of his works seem to bear this, but probably the creativity of Van Gogh was also born from the "genius" ability to see reality from perspectives not ordinary. The red and green colors used in "The Night Café" express his emotional state, the terrible human passions experienced by the artist in his path in life, as in "The Wheatfield with Crows" shows the sadness and 'extreme loneliness that characterized it. The varied symptoms presented by the artist coexists, however, with his creativity so that they can not associate the originality of his paintings to the typical characteristics of a disease. The paintings, artistic expression represent a communication channel, a means chosen by Van Gogh to express its true though. Man as being multi categorical does not have a single language but different ways in which going to be implementing. Changing the way people express themselves, change the mode of being of the subject.
